The solution involved lots of planning, which we would recommend with all bathrooms. The client wanted a modern all-white scheme with lots of storage, shower and bath plus contemporary fixtures.
The stylish new fittings (taps and shower head/controls etc) were chosen from an array of catalogues and we collected lots of tile samples for the clients to look at in the comfort of his home over a coffee.
Then the main job was to do lots of drawings to ensure that everything he required would fit nicely and do the job properly. With a very low ceiling, careful measurements had to be made. We had custom-built mirrored storage made.
We considered carefully his storage needs and the interior was designed around these.. The mirrored doors made the very small space feel much larger plus all the pills and potions are tidied away.
To add interest to a very simple scheme, we concealed LED lights behind the storage. This creates a mood light which can be used along with or separately from new spotlights. We managed the installation for the client while he was out at work during the day. |

Contractors
The works for the bathroom were fairly straightforward as it was a single bathroom. Prior to starting any work a full set of work instructions were written to ensure that no detail was left out. This also made sure that work estimates are very accurate.

Each of the contractors we contacted for this project was asked to provide a detailed quote, timeframe for their works, insurance certificates and references.
We developed a schedule for the chosen contractor to come in and undertake the work as specified. We monitored the works with frequent site visits relieving our clients of the stress of managing trade persons. At the end of the works we made sure that the client was completely satisfied and that all minor snags were dealt with promptly.
